Each group provides a welcoming space for thoughtful discussion, personal growth, and community connection. Whether you’re interested in meditation practices, literary insights, nonfiction exploration, or theological questions, we have a group that will engage your curiosity and deepen your understanding.

  • Meditation Book Club: Explore the practice and philosophy of meditation through carefully selected readings. This group focuses on texts that guide participants in developing mindfulness techniques and understanding the principles behind various meditation traditions.
  • Insight Book Group: Open to all interested MLUC readers, this group meets on the third Thursday of each month. Participants engage with thought-provoking fiction and literature, exploring the human condition through diverse stories and perspectives.
  • Nonfiction Book Group: Dive into compelling true stories, biographies, historical accounts, and informative works that expand our understanding of the world. This group embraces a wide range of nonfiction topics, encouraging critical thinking and informed discussion.
  • Theology Explorers: Join fellow seekers in discussing spiritual topics and materials in search of truth, meaning, and spiritual growth. This group examines various theological perspectives and philosophical questions in a supportive, open-minded environment.
