Royce Strider, tenor Ting Ting Wong, piano

Tenor Royce Strider and pianist Ting Ting Wong will present a song recital at Main Line Unitarian Church in Devon, PA. The first half of the program will include American Folk Settings by Steven Mark Kohn and a premier performance of Plenty of Time Together by Michael Chadwick, with settings of poetry by Ogden Nash. The second half will be a performance of Georgy Sviridov’s epic song cycle Russia Cast Adrift, which set twelve poems by Sergei Esenin in a journey exploring pastoral Russia, orthodoxy and mysticism, and anti-soviet implications.
