Explore, Discover, Transform

Engage with thought-provoking classes, lectures, and workshops designed to deepen your understanding of Unitarian Universalism, social justice, and personal growth. Our learning opportunities welcome all seekers—whether you’re new to MLUC, curious about Unitarian Universalism principles or history, or a long-time member seeking to expand your horizons.

Our Learning Offerings Include:

  • Adult Faith Education: Engage with rotating seasonal classes exploring diverse spiritual practices, religious traditions, contemporary ethical issues, and UU values in action. Our facilitators create spaces for meaningful dialogue and personal reflection.
  • Lecture Lunch: Held on the second Wednesday each month from September through June. Features a guest speaker drawn from the church or outside community.
  • Meditation: MLUC offers a variety of meditation programs, including two on Sunday morning; one virtually on Thursday evening; two book study groups concentrating on Buddhism and meditation; meditation retreats; and labyrinth walks.
  • Small Group Ministry (SGM): Discover deeper connections and spiritual growth through our small group ministry, where members explore life’s profound questions together in welcoming, supportive gatherings. Guided by thoughtful readings and facilitated discussions, these intimate groups provide a meaningful space for personal reflection and community building.
  • Book Groups: Dive into our vibrant book group where passionate readers come together to explore, discuss, and discover new literary worlds. Join us in-person or online as we share insights, perspectives, and the joy of reading—all are welcome.
