Our meditation groups offer a contemplative sanctuary where individuals can cultivate inner peace, personal growth, and spiritual awareness through mindful practices that honor each person’s unique journey. Drawing from diverse traditions and embracing the transformative power of silence, our gatherings create a supportive community space where participants can explore self-reflection, cultivate compassion, and connect with the deeper dimensions of human experience.
Meditation Groups
There are four regularly scheduled meditation groups at MLUC.
Meditation I meets on Sundays at 8:30 a.m. and ends before the main service begins at 10 a.m. It includes a facilitated discussion followed a period of silent meditation. It is also possible to join online here.
Meditation II also meets on Sundays at 11:30 a.m., after the main service, and is a shared silent meditation. It is also possible to join online via zoom.
Monday Meditation Study Group meets at 7 a.m. on Monday mornings. This is conducted as a discussion class, working through a different selected book, followed by a silent meditation. It is open to new participants at the beginning of each new book, in the spring or in the fall. Contact the meditation group leaders for more information.
Thursday Evening Meditation meets 7 p.m. on Thursdays via Zoom.
